It seems that planning an engagement session is a lot like planning a date night, and inviting your photographer along for the evening. Slightly awkward, but tons of fun once we all find a balanced groove with our 3 wheels. Katie and Jace began our date night in Austin with some outdoor, unleashed time with their two dogs at Auditorium Shores. Once the ‘kids’ were shuttled home by a friend, we made our way to the famed graffiti wall in Clarksville for a little champagne celebration and alone time. After catching some lovely skyline views, we headed to one of their favorite spots on Rainey Street to end the session in the sunset light – and then I wished them a happy night and left them to the rest of the date on their own.
